The best way to contribute to your community is to stay informed!

Although much can be done to improve communication between city hall and its residents, it is your responsibility to actively seek information.  I highly recommend subscribing to the Thursday MJS to obtain the weekly BrookfieldNOW insert.  If that is not possible you can get daily updates on city developments at www.brookfieldNOW.com.  In addition, check the city website daily to see what meetings are scheduled for the week. You can also check this site for District 7 information.

It is imperative that you attend Public Information Meetings and Hearings when they are posted.  This is your chance to proactively oppose or encourage a particular project.  Local government effects your life daily as we all live in here in Brookfield and you can have a big impact on your community by staying involved.

If you are highly concerned, oppose, or support a proposal, you need to let all your aldermen know how you feel.  Aldermen Contact Info
